City Council Hearing on Federal Stimulus Package

Yesterday I hosted a presentation in the Rules and Government Operations Committee on the City's priorities for the Federal Stimulus Package currently making its way through Congress. I think we have an opportunity to get some great projects started - like The Banks, the Streetcar and other strategic investments that provide both long term benefit to the community and immediate job opportunities to local workers.
It's crucial that we work with our federal and state lobbyists over the next several months to make sure that Cincinnati gets its fair share of the money. Stay tuned for updates as we work to create as many jobs as possible and make smart investments in Cincinnati's future.
