Promoting Bicycling
A Bicycle Friendly Cincinnati
Cincinnati has a great network of parks and bike trails, and plenty of people who use them every day. Our local bike organizations are some of the best in the country, and more people are getting out to see our Queen City by bike than ever before.
Jeff has also been a consistent advocate for the dedicated bike trail connecting Lunken Airport and Downtown Cincinnati, as well the the temporary trail along that path and the future connection to the Loveland Bike Trail.
In the summer of 2010 Jeff advocated for the Comprehensive Bicycle Transportation Plan, which seeks to make bicycling in Cincinnati a safe, enjoyable activity as well as an alternative form of transportation. Additionally, he championed an ordinance that ensures cyclists will be safe riding on Cincinnati streets. Jeff is currently seeking adequate street sweeping of the City's bicycle lanes. He is also working with Cincinnati Parks and local volunteers to create the first mountain biking trail within the City.
Jeff has always fought for bike and walking trails to link our neighborhoods and attract new people to Cincinnati. He’ll continue working to make Cincinnati a city that’s safe and friendly for citizens of all ages to enjoy bicycling.
